The Art & History Museums of Maitland (A&H) offers five breathtaking venues, each located within a one-of-a-kind cultural site adorned with over 2,500 hand-carved sculptural details. Every archway, tile, and relief at A&H forms part of a living outdoor museum, creating unforgettable backdrops for weddings, anniversaries, milestone celebrations, and private gatherings.
Main Garden
Graceful and timeless, the Main Garden at A&H’s Maitland Art Center offers a tranquil setting surrounded by lush greenery and historic artist studios. Guests are welcomed by a central reflection pond and walkways lined with André Smith’s concrete carvings. Ideal for ceremonies and portrait sessions, the space feels like a secluded oasis in the heart of Central Florida.

Chapel & Mayan Courtyard
Step into another world. The Chapel and Mayan Courtyard are the architectural soul of our National Historic Landmark campus. Fantastical and deeply atmospheric, the sculpted chapel is framed by carved floor tiles, soaring reliefs, and a sense of artistic mystery. Just beyond, the Mayan Courtyard opens into a cloister-like garden ringed with ornate columns, surreal sculptural walls, and a romantic atmosphere that feels suspended in time.

West Garden
Set against the striking backdrop of one of Smith’s large concrete murals, the West Garden offers a secluded space for intimate ceremonies or cocktail gatherings. Just steps from the Mayan Courtyard and Chapel, this location is perfect for transitions between ceremony and reception or for a quiet celebration under the sky.
Capacity: 50 seated; 100 cocktail style

Germaine Marvel Building
Spacious, versatile, and fully climate-controlled, the Germaine Marvel Building (GMB) is our largest indoor venue, and is perfect for receptions, holiday parties, or corporate events. The GMB features a full kitchen, indoor restrooms, and easy flow to the adjacent Rotary Event Plaza. It can be styled for elegant dinners, presentations, or dance-floor celebrations, and guests will enjoy views of the historic Chapel.

Rotary Event Plaza
Located just outside the Germaine Marvel Building, the Rotary Event Plaza offers a shaded, tented environment ideal for larger events and outdoor receptions. Overlooking Quinn Strong Park, the plaza combines fresh air with comfort, and is available seasonally from October to mid-June.
