Landmark Society
In 2014, the Maitland Art Center, home of the Art & History Museums of Maitland, was designated a National Historic Landmark, making it the only site in the greater Orlando area to hold this prestigious status and just the 44th in Florida. In honor of this distinction, the Landmark Society was established to recognize individuals and families who are deeply committed to preserving this historic treasure.
Landmark Society members contribute $1,000 or more annually, helping to ensure the ongoing care of our historic campus and making art and history accessible to our entire community. In return, they enjoy exclusive benefits, including:
- VIP access to exhibitions and private hours with exhibiting artists
- Invitations to special Landmark Society events, including our summer Founder’s Art Night
- Recognition as a vital supporter of Central Florida’s only National Historic Landmark
